Age is counted as on 1 April of the panel year.
Upper age limit is 32 with an M.Phil. and 34 with a Ph.D.
Officer experience in scheduled commercial banks, public sector insurers, AIFIs or RBI relaxes the upper limit by the years served, up to 3 (maximum 33).
General and EWS candidates who have taken Phase-I six times cannot apply.

In Papers I and III the descriptive part asks 6 questions, of which 4 are answered (2 of 15 marks and 2 of 10 marks). All papers except English are bilingual (Hindi and English). A personality assessment (no marks) comes before the 75-mark interview. The advertisement does not state section-wise Phase-I marks or negative marking.

How many vacancies are there in RBI Grade B 2026?
60: 40 in the General cadre, 10 in DEPR and 10 in DSIM.
What is the qualification for RBI Grade B General?
Graduation in any discipline with at least 60% marks (50% for SC, ST and PwBD), or post-graduation with at least 55% (pass marks for SC, ST and PwBD), in the aggregate of all semesters or years.
What is the age limit for RBI Grade B?
21 to 30 years as on 1 April 2026. The upper limit is 32 with an M.Phil. and 34 with a Ph.D. SC/ST get 5 more years and OBC 3 where posts are reserved, PwBD 10, 13 or 15.
How many attempts are allowed in RBI Grade B?

What is in RBI Grade B Phase-II?
