Age is counted as on 1 January of the year after the advertisement.
Limits include a one-year relaxation for all applicants. General men born between 2 January 2002 and 1 January 2008 could apply; General women from 2 January 1997.
Reserved-category candidates from other states are treated as General.
Candidates must know Hindi written in Devanagari and the culture of Rajasthan.
Men: height 168 cm, chest 81 cm, 86 cm expanded. Women: height 152 cm, weight 47.5 kg. Sahariya candidates of Baran: men 160 cm and chest 74 / 79 cm, women 145 cm and 43 kg.
Everyone must run 5 km: men in 25 minutes, women in 35 minutes, ex-servicemen and SC / ST of the Tribal Sub-Plan area in 30 minutes. There is one attempt.

Pass marks in the written exam: 40% for General, EWS, BC and MBC; 36% for SC and ST; no minimum for local candidates of the Tribal Sub-Plan area. About 5 times the posts go to the PET. Constable Driver and Band also take a 30-mark proficiency test; Band candidates take no written exam. SC / ST candidates get 5 cm relaxation in height and chest if enough candidates do not meet the general standard.

Do I need CET to apply for Rajasthan Police Constable?
Yes. The 2025 recruitment was open only to candidates who passed the Common Eligibility Test (Senior Secondary level) 2024. You apply with your CET application number and SSO ID.
What is the age limit for Rajasthan Police Constable?
For Constable General and Band, as on 1 January 2026: General men 18–24, General women up to 29, reserved-category men up to 29 and reserved-category women up to 34. These include a one-year relaxation for everyone.
Is there negative marking in the written exam?
Yes. 25% of the marks of a question are deducted for each wrong answer in the 150-mark written exam.
How long is the Rajasthan Police running test?
Everyone runs 5 km: men within 25 minutes, women within 35 minutes, ex-servicemen and SC / ST candidates of the Tribal Sub-Plan area within 30 minutes. It is qualifying.
