Born not earlier than 2 July 2000 and not later than 1 July 2007 (2025 exam).
Open to candidates from all parts of the country. Category relaxation applies to all eligible candidates, not only to residents of Delhi.
The post is not identified as suitable for persons with benchmark disabilities.
Men: height 170 cm and chest 81 cm with 4 cm expansion, each relaxable by 5 cm for hill-area residents, ST candidates and sons of Delhi Police personnel. Women: height 157 cm.
Vision 6/12 in both eyes without glasses, and no colour blindness.

The paper is of matriculation level. Minimum CBE marks to reach the PE&MT: 35 for unreserved, 30 for SC, ST, OBC and EWS, 25 for ex-servicemen. Height relaxation for women: 2 cm for hill-area residents and SC / ST, 5 cm for daughters of Delhi Police personnel.

Who can apply for Delhi Police Constable?
Indian citizens from any state who have passed 12th (10+2). Men must also hold a valid LMV driving licence (motorcycle or car) by the PE&MT; a learner licence is not accepted.
What is the age limit for Delhi Police Constable?
18 to 25 years as on 1 July 2025 for the 2025 exam. OBC candidates get 3 more years and SC / ST candidates 5 more years.
Is there negative marking in the Delhi Police Constable exam?
Yes. 0.25 marks are deducted for each wrong answer in the 100-mark computer based exam.
What is the height for Delhi Police Constable?
Men 170 cm with a chest of 81 cm and 4 cm expansion; women 157 cm. Hill-area residents and ST candidates get 5 cm relaxation (men) or 2 cm (women, also SC).
How long is the Delhi Police race?
1,600 metres. Men up to 30 years must finish in 6 minutes, women up to 30 in 8 minutes. Older candidates get more time. Men then need a 14 ft long jump and 3′9″ high jump; women 10 ft and 3′.

Where is the Delhi Police Constable 2025 exam now?
The CBE was held from 18 December 2025 to 6 January 2026 and its result was declared on 19 June 2026. Delhi Police revised the PE&MT schedule: remaining Constable (Executive) candidates are to appear from 18 to 26 September 2026.
