How many posts are there in MPPSC State Service Exam 2026?
155 posts, as listed in the notice dated 31 December 2025.
What is the age limit for MPPSC State Service 2026?
Age is counted on 1 January 2026. For non-uniformed posts you must be 21 to 40; for uniformed posts 21 to 33. Domiciles of Madhya Pradesh in reserved and other categories get relaxation as set out in the notice.
Can final-year students apply for MPPSC?
Yes, for Prelims. You must have passed your degree before the last date of the Mains application.
Is there negative marking in MPPSC Prelims?
Yes. The 2026 notice says negative marking applies in the Prelims exam.
Can candidates from other states apply for MPPSC?
Yes, but reservation and age relaxation are only for domiciles of Madhya Pradesh. Others are treated as unreserved.
Why does MPPSC declare results in 87% and 13% parts?
Following a Government of M.P. order of 29 September 2022, results are declared for 87% of posts, with 13% provisional until the courts decide the OBC reservation cases.
