How a live test works
One paper, one window, one attempt. Rank waits until the close time so nobody is racing a public board.
- 1Pick a testEvery live test has a published start time and a close time. Open the page before it starts so you know the pattern, duration and marking.
- 2Start inside the windowSign in and start between the start time and the close time. The timer on the paper is the duration of that test.
- 3Wait for the rankAfter you submit, the All-India rank is held until the close time so nobody is racing a public board while others are still writing.
- 4Read the resultWhen the window closes, open the leaderboard for your rank, marks and how you did on each question.

Frequently asked questions
About live tests on Sarkari Parcha.
What is a live test on Sarkari Parcha?
A full-length mock that starts at a published time for every student. You attempt inside that window, and when it closes you get an All-India rank against everyone who took the same paper.
When can I start?
From the start time until the close time shown on the test page. Those two times are the scheduledAt and examEndTime fields on the test — there is no separate entry window.
Do I need an account?
You can read the schedule, pattern and FAQs without signing in. Starting a live test needs a free account so the attempt and the rank can be saved to you.
Is there a live leaderboard while I am writing?
No. Rank is published after the close time. While the test is on you will not see other students’ scores, and we do not show a public board or chat.
What if I have already submitted?
You get one attempt. After you submit, the page waits until the close time and then the leaderboard opens. You cannot start the same live test again.
Are live tests free?
Each test is marked Free or Premium on its page from the isFree flag on that paper. Premium access on Sarkari Parcha is currently free for everyone.
