You apply for the vacancies of one participating Regional Rural Bank / state only.
Officer Scale II and III are in the same notice but have a single exam (no Prelims) and their own qualification rules; they are not on this page.

Prelims is qualifying. Office Assistant merit is on Mains marks. Officer Scale I merit is Mains and interview. Tests other than English/Hindi are offered in English, Hindi and the language of the state you apply for.

The CRP RRBs-XV notice does not print a pay scale. Each Regional Rural Bank pays its Office Assistants and officers under its own rules.

IBPS RRB frequently asked questions
What is the age limit for IBPS RRB?
Office Assistant: 18–28 years as on 1 September 2026. Officer Scale I: 18–30 years as on the same date. SC/ST get 5 more years, OBC 3 and PwBD 10.
How many vacancies are there in IBPS RRB 2026?
As on 9 September 2026, Annexure I listed 8,222 Office Assistant posts and 4,256 Officer Scale I posts. IBPS can revise the tables during the cycle.
Is IBPS RRB the same as Railway RRB?
No. IBPS RRB is for jobs in Regional Rural Banks. Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB NTPC, Group D, ALP, JE) are a different set of exams, under Railways.
Is there an interview for Office Assistant?
No. Office Assistant selection is Prelims, then Mains. Only officer posts have an interview after Mains.
Is there negative marking in IBPS RRB?
Yes. One fourth of the marks of a question is deducted for each wrong answer in Prelims and Mains. A question left blank has no penalty.
When is IBPS RRB 2026?
Applications ran from 1 to 21 September 2026. From the IBPS calendar: Officer Scale I Prelims on 21–22 November, Office Assistant Prelims on 6, 12 and 13 December, Officer Scale I Mains on 20 December 2026, and Office Assistant Mains on 30 January 2027. IBPS can change these dates.
